- Environmental Performance Award 2006 under the Hong Kong Awards for Industries in Environmental Performance category organised by Trade and Industry Department and Business Environment Council.
- Outstanding Partnership Award 2007/08 under the Caring Company Scheme from the Hong Kong Council of Social Service for our partnership with the Hong Kong Family Welfare Association in the 'Loving Bridge' programme, providing skills-based social education for ethnic minorities.
- The Heart of Gold Awards 2007 jointly organised by Ming Pao Weekly, the Better Hongkong Foundation and the Peace and Development Foundation in recognition of the Bank's commitment to and its leading role in corporate sustainability, especially in areas of education, environment and community welfare. HSBC is the first financial services organisation to win this accolade in the Award's two-year history.
